What to Wear:


Although we are having a mostly renaissance/medieval wedding, costumes from a larger time span will be encouraged. There are many things that can be worn for such an occasion including many garments that you might already own. Good examples of what types of clothing we are looking for can be found by watching many different movies including; Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Bravehart, and the Three Musketeers.

Here are a few shops that rent appropriate attire if you live in the Washinton Metro area or you can always call from elsewhere and pick up the rental when you come in to town.

    • The contact name given is the store manager of each shop. Though the manger, in most cases, is the person we have talked to it is not necessary for you to talk to them directly if you are renting costumes. Most costumes that we have seen range from about $30 - $60 for the rental which includes an extra day to pick it up and drop it off. Many of the costumes are unique and made by the shops which rent them.

    A rental is not always necessary though. Many people may have bits and pieces at home that might turn out to be a great Medieval costume. Visit the costume site here and or watch the listed movies for ideas. You are also welcome to contact us with any questions.
